Hyder has 100 year round residents.



 

Stewart has 400 year round residents.

 BC and AK have different time zones but because so many people
come back and forth Hyder AK keeps the same time as BC.
A lot easier for residents of bth towns!

 

Salmon At Fish Creek

We had no luck had the bear viewing station but there
was plenty of Salmon.
Run by the forest department 3 miles from our Hyder campground.

Camp Run-A-Muck In Hyder

$25 a night.

Had to wait until showers were done at 10am to get enough water for
our laundry!

There is no 911 service in Hyder.

Best campground and view on trip so far.
Midway spot on the Cassiar Highway.

Entire first half was beautiful!

Fished here.....no luck but a nice spot.
